FTP client
An FTP client allows you to connect to a host and manually manipulate the files stored there. This could be useful for:
- Deleting a published site
 - Uploading a site that you had previously published to a folder on your hard drive
 - Exploring the structure of your web host to determine where the document root is

You can generally connect using either the FTP, SFTP, or WebDAV protocols - most clients support all three. A number of FTP clients are available for OS X. Some of the major offerings are:
- Cyberduck (freeware)
 - Transmit
 - Filezilla (freeware)
 - Interarchy
 - Fetch
 - Yummy FTP
 - Captain FTP

We have instructions for uploading a site using Cyberduck.
Note that sites published with Sandvox Hosting are not directly accessible with an FTP client.
